ISPS CODE

Pioneer in terms of know how in passenger maritime operations, the Maritime Passenger Terminal strictly abides to all regulations under the ISPS Code – International Ship and Port Facility Security since 2005, established and signed by 166 nations, members of the Internacional Maritime Organization (IMO).

ISPS Code was determined by the Internacional Maritime Organization (IMO), an entity linked to the United Nations (UN), in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks that struck the US on September 11, 2001.

That certification is issued only for terminals that meet the determined requirements, which have the purpose of fighting terrorism at sea and identifying possible suspicious actions involving drugs, weapons, and other threats.


ISO 9001

ISO 9001 The Maritime Terminal Passenger Giusfredo Santini - Concais - is certified by ISO9001:2008, an international standard that defines the requirements for implementing aQuality Management System. This gives the title Concais first passenger terminal in Brazil to receive this certification.

The Concais works for the excellence of its procedures, so the importance of certification to ISO 9001:2008. Thus, it is transparent to the market, all the boat owners and operators, service providers and suppliers terminal. Receiving the certificate of ISO9001:2008 means that the company will operate under integrated processes, with people more trained to focus on company objectives and focused on customer satisfaction, based on eight quality management principles.


ISO 14001

ISO 14001 The Concais is the first passenger terminal in Brazil certified by the NBR ISO 14001:2004, an international standard that defines the requirements to implement Environmental Management System by Bureau Veritas (BV).

After three years of preparation to receive the audit and achieve certification. The terminal has implemented all the activities and conducted mainly by the dissemination of environmental awareness, where everyone joined in and participated with the objective of meeting the certification and thus be part of a group that seeks success and contributes to a better world.

The standard is a tool designed to help companies identify, prioritize and manage their environmental risks as part of their normal business practices. The standard allows the company to pay greater attention to the issues most relevant to their business. The ISO14001 requires companies to commit to pollution prevention and continual improvements like part of the normal cycle of business management.
