Statistics - Maritime Passenger Terminal Giusfredo Santini S.A
Report of season 2009-2010 Santos, 2010Concais – Maritime Passenger Terminal Giusfredo Santini has statistic data available for the segment of maritime cruises in the Port of Santos after closing season 2009/2010.
This has been the twelfth season of Concais after 1998, when it was given the responsibility from the Port Authority – CODESP, to implement a terminal to receive passengers in the Port of Santos. Within this period, 56 different ships have been served, which counts for over 1,500 calls and the movement of around 4.1 million passengers in the Port of Santos.
By 2009, R$ 42.1 million have been invested in facilities, equipment and services and, the terminal is capable of receiving up to 42,000 passengers per day. We cannot forget to mention, though, the outstanding work performed by a committed team in search of excellence in their service to tourists.
This year, Concais was certified ISO 14001:2004 – Environmental Management System, which means one more important achievement to the Terminal.
We will continue to invest. In 2010, investment values will amount to R$ 6 million and the terminal expects a growth of 28% in its operational area (embarkation, disembarkation and waiting), going to 25,000 m². In 2011, we will invest more R$ 11 million to be allocated in more expansions of the operational area and also in the supporting area.
Certain that Concais – Maritime Passenger Terminal Giusfredo Santini – contributes directly with the growth of maritime cruises in Brazil, making available, every year, better facilities and services for the Brazilians that embark at the Port of Santos, we thank everyone who collaborated with the o success achieved in more than ten years of operation.
Regards,
